We're down to our final 49 players, as Sepp Straka isn't playing this week.

The last 1.5x event of the year is at Caves Valley in Maryland — where I'm pretty sure there are no caves or valleys. The previous visit from the TOUR was in 2021, when Cantlay beat Bryson in an exciting playoff.

That was during the height of golf bros yelling "Brooksy" at Bryson all day... which feels like a lifetime ago.

The course — a 1991 Tom Fazio design — also went through a $10+ million renovation, extending it to over 7,600 yards. And playing as a par-70 this week!

What did they get for all that money? I'm predicting the usual bomb-and-gauge test, where the winning score will be around -20 instead of -27 (mainly due to the change in par). Probably something Scottie will win.

It'll be worth watching, as the fight to finish in the top 30 does add excitement.
