2025 PGA Tour – Fantasy Golf Pool – Rules Sheet

PLEASE READ RULES CAREFULLY

The gist: Season long fantasy league. Pick 20 golfers and ride with them until the Tour Championship. No need to set line-ups each week. Just make selections based on the rules below, and hope they don’t get injured!

Season begins at the SENTRY (1/2/2025) and ends at the TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP (8/24/2025).
Two additional European Tour tournaments are also included: The DUBAI DESERT CLASSIC, and the SCOTTISH OPEN.
In total: 36-ish events.
Selections must be submitted by 12/31/24, along with the entry fee ($50).
Select 20 total players on the Entry Form:

GROUP 1.1 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 2.1 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 3.1 – 3 PLAYERS

GROUP 1.2 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 2.2 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 3.2 – 3 PLAYERS

GROUP 1.3 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 2.3 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 4.1 – 6 PLAYERS*

GROUP 1.4 – 1 PLAYER GROUP 2.4 – 1 PLAYER (*1 write-in allowed)

Points are awarded to the TOP FIVE POSTED SCORES in each tournament, based on the scoring grid below.
If a tournament ends in a playoff, the winner will receive top points. ALL playoff losers get 2nd place points. Next best score(s) get 3rd points. And so on. Here are two actual examples from 2022:

SIX TOURNAMENTS will be worth DOUBLE POINTS: All four majors, THE PLAYERS, and the TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP.
TEN TOURNAMENTS are designated as "SIGNATURE" and worth 1.5x POINTS: The Sentry, AT&T Pebble, Genesis, API, Heritage, Truist, Memorial, Travelers, and the first two rounds of the FedEx Cup "Playoffs."
The number of entrants will determine the prize distribution. First place tie-breaker will be based on most points scored in the four Majors. In 2024 we had 78 entries, paying out the top 16 spots, with the winner earning $710.
Last place gets their money back, with the least points in the four Majors serving as a tie-breaker. As soon as you realize your team is hot garbage, start rooting against them!

A portion of the entry fee will be used for time-related cost of weekly production, updates, website expenses, and lawsuits.
