LIV Less Mas

We just had a very entertaining Masters where 3 smooth-brained individuals (I'm one of them) got top points for the Rory McIlroy victory... only to have Scheffler finish solo 2nd and mitigate our points advantage!

The golf on Sunday was sloppy all around, with a handful of guys kicking themselves this week knowing they easily could have won. It was a very mentally draining experience for the golfers and fans alike.

So of course we're now on to a Signature Event at Harbour Town!

Golf that matters!
Golf that matters!

With news dropping any moment of LIV shutting down — I'd like to once again point out how necessary LIV was. The PGA TOUR is better today than it was five years ago. And with the alleged schedule changes next year (hopefully) it'll be vastly improved from today.

But this is why we needed LIV to happen. Because the TOUR didn't think their product sucked. And it did, with 42+ events a season all presented as having the exact same weight and importance. With top players creating their own schedules and only all getting together at the Majors, four events the TOUR has no ownership in. There was even a stretch where all the best Euros skipped the PLAYERS!

And of course, the TOUR thinks one of their top "Signature" events needs to happen the week after the Masters.

This is idiotic. Let the sport breathe.

I'll be checking in to see the Davis Love III recent changes to the course... but that's about where my interest ends.

Good luck to your team, however!
