Chris Gotterup continued his quick ascension into elite TOUR status with his 3rd win in three years, snagging the Sony Open in Hawaii with a clutch 6-under 64 on Sunday for a two-shot victory over Ryan Gerard. This also came just a week after a victory in his TGL debut for the Atlanta Drive! About 30% of the pool has him, so he's not exactly under the radar.

This might be the last time for awhile we see golf in Hawaii, as the TOUR (hopefully) is considering starting the season sometime around Super Bowl Sunday in the future.

This week we have two events - The American Express on the PGA TOUR, and the Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour.

Brooks Koepka makes his return to real golf at the AmEx, and looks to be the only eligible LIV player to kiss the ring, with Rahm and Dechambeau locked into more complicated contracts. Scottie Scheffler is also making his first start of the season, and will be the heavy favorite despite the solid strength of field.

Koepka is back, and definitely very, very sorry for all the turmoil he caused.

On the Euro side, it's the first "Rolex Series" event, with their top players attempting to earn Race to Dubai points despite... starting in Dubai? Rory, Fleetwood, and Hovland are the top golfers playing in the sand this week.

Good luck!
