A Major Rush

We're down to the final Major of the year... and my personal favorite. The برطانوی Open almost always delivers. And this year they're headed back to Northern Ireland — for the third time ever — playing Royal Portrush.
I played across the entire island last year, and Royal Portrush was the first course of the trip. By the back nine I was asking my caddie to be on the lookout for extra balls!
The rough hadn't been mowed in two years... in preparation for this weeks Major. The plan was to finally mow it (slightly) at some point last winter, and then let it do whatever it does until this week.
But the pros aren't some hacker like myself, so I don't expect it to be absolute carnage. In 2019 Shane Lowry won at -15, beating Tommy Fleetwood by six strokes!
It's a fantastic routing, and has a lot more land movement than the Open rota in Scotland. There should be a little rain throughout the week, which will add more unpredictability.
I'll go out on a very small limb and say nobody in the top 10 OWGR wins this week.
The same prediction applies to the Barracuda Championship, which also counts for the pool this week. Mainly because the highest ranked player in that field is 74th.

Good luck!
