Thomas Detry (4 selections) won the WM Phoenix Open last week, becoming the first ever player from Belgium to win a TOUR event.

Lifelong bestest buddies Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas also showed signs of life, finishing in the points.

And amateur Luke Clanton (5 write-ins) missed the cut by one stroke, which would have given him an official TOUR card for the rest of the season. He'll have to wait until the Valspar in Tampa to become pro and finally escape Florida State University.

This week we have a Signature event back at Torrey Pines, since Riviera is surrounded by fire. As expected, all the top non-LIV players are in attendance... except Xander who has a mysterious rib injury. This could be a huge issue for the 4 people who took a chance on him over Scottie.

It's also an issue for the millions of NY Golf Club fans in the TGL. That team is already a dumpster fire — even with Xander.

I'd be out too if I ate that many ribs.

Anyway... back to Torrey Pines. All rounds will be on the daunting South course this week. It'll feel Major-ish, despite the smaller 72 player no-cut field. Tiger Woods is the host, but opted not to play after the death of his mother last week.

It's also the final week of good prime time golf this season.

Good luck!
