We started the week off with a scoring correction! The first one I can remember since this pool began in 2016!

It was brought to my attention that I accidentally listed Sepp Straka in the points at the Wells Fargo Championship — twelve weeks ago. While this error would have been caught in our year-end reconciliation... I'm always very appreciative of anyone double-checking the results! If you see something, say something!

So nine entries lost 3 points with that correction. I believe 8 of those 9 entries are near the bottom of the standings anyway, since you know... they picked Sepp Straka.

Last week we had 34 points scored in total! That has to be a record low, as only those with Austin Eckroat earned two points. As I say every week... these events shouldn't exist.

But what should exist — even though it feels like the season ends at the British Open — is the TOUR's "playoffs."

First up is the Fed Ex St. Jude Classic in swampass Tennessee (TPC Southwind). We got 70 players qualifying, and it's worth 1.5x in our pool. It'll be decent golf watching.

But it doesn't feel like this event has any meaning. Rather, it's the last chance to see the top golfers in 2024, unless you tune into the European's Race to Dubai in the fall.

I guess there is the President's Cup this year in Canada. Hooray!
