Beau Hossler, Erik van Rooyen, Ryan Fox, and Sam Stevens were the selected golfers scoring points last week at Myrtle Beach. To the surprise of no one, our leader — Richard D. — had three of those guys. One of which was Ryan Fox, his write-in who has earned 10 points in three weeks. We're truly witnessing one of the greatest Fantasy Golf teams in history.

In the "signature" Wells Fargo event, Rory McIlroy took Xander Schauffele to the woodshed on Sunday, winning by five despite: A) trailing by two after seven holes, 2) firm conditions that made overall scoring higher, and D) carding a double-bogey after air-mailing the final green.

The bowels of golf internets refer to Xander — and his BFF Cantlay — as "house cats." Acting like they own the place, only to scurry under the bed at the first sign of danger. It's a very fitting metaphor and was on full display Sunday.

This week we move into the year's 2nd Major - the PGA Championship at Valhalla in Louisville, Kentucky. This 1986 Jack Nicklaus design has hosted three previous PGA Championships and the 2008 Ryder Cup (where America actually won).

It's going to play very similar to Quail Hollow last weekend, so expect a lot of the same names in contention. LIV golfers Koepka, Rahm and Bryson should also play well here. They're over-fertilizing the rough this week — and the forecast calls for a bunch of rain — so expect an extra premium on driving distance. Short hitters will not have a chance, as is the case for basically every Major except the British Open.
