Bored of the Rings

Apologies for the slow update this week. I was out of town for a wedding... but we're back in business!

Except... we're not... due to a much needed break in the golf season.

Xander won The Open, which felt like the true end to the golf season.

But we also had rookie — and former 2024 amateur — Nick Dunlap win his 2nd event of the season at the Barracuda. Of course, he's still somehow not in the upcoming playoffs since his points from his first win (AmEx in Week 3) don't count toward his season total since he wasn't a "professional." Wild Stuff.

We also had the 3M snoozefest producing points for write-in Matt Kuchar! I did not have that on my bingo card this season.

This week is a break due to the Olympics. Next week is the Wyndham, the final "regular season" event of the year. And then we're on to the "playoffs!"

Expect the Wyndham to be mildly interesting as guys outside the top 70 in FedEx points desperately try to qualify.
