To our 12 loyal readers, all apologies for the missed post last week. We had a couple of "regular" TOUR events punching above their weight in Texas.

Min Woo Lee almost blew a large lead in Houston two weeks ago, but hung on for his first ever carrier title.

Brian Harman bunted it around a windy San Antonio last week to claim his first win in two years. Harman's ability to remain relevant 16 years after turning pro is nothing to scoff at.

All said, it was decent golf warming us up for the year's first Major. You have to go all the way down to 53rd in the world (Ben Griffin) to find someone missing from the field. There's endless pre-tournament coverage to consume, as all the usual lines are present. Scheffler looking for his 3rd win in 4 years. Rory trying to have his revenge on Augusta National. Bryson thirsting for the spotlight and will definitely milk it for all it's worth. Max Homa is in terrible form and will be unable to get his swing on a plane.

There's only a minor chance storms will roll into the area on Friday, so hopefully those stay away.

Enjoy the golf, and the double-points!
