A good little change of pace last week with the team event at the Zurich. A lot more points scored than I would have guessed, with our leader Melissa racking up 28 (2nd highest)! Her team is on a historic run, and is only like 3 selections away from leading every group.

McIlroy and Lowry scored zero points in New Orleans.

So we're in another lull of the schedule, with the THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson this week, located north of Dallas, Texas. There's a handful of decent Lone Star players in the field. But the course — TPC Craig Ranch — isn't up to TOUR standards. The winning scores have been: -25, -26, -23, and -23. It takes some Guts to go that low.

I believe they're about to pump $15M into it, which seems like a lot. But alas... there are enough people in the region to support overpriced private clubs that host professional golf. So good for them!
